Experience a rejuvenating weekend of yoga, relaxation, and community amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of the Oregon coastline in Depoe Bay. NOW Yoga and Galen T Fairbanks invite you to join us for 3 days of mindful movement, meditation, and meaningful connections.

Allow your body to find its rhythm with invigorating morning yoga practices that awaken and energize you. Embrace the tranquility of evening sessions designed to release tension, restore balance, and promote restful sleep. Between yoga sessions, take leisurely walks along the seashore, curl up by the fireplace with a book, or engage with fellow community members. Throughout the retreat, enjoy nourishing meals that fuel your body and support your well-being.

This retreat celebrates the Fall season, encouraging you to turn inward, harvest your accomplishments, and prepare for winter. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding ocean, we'll move and flow like water, allowing the coast to guide us towards a state of balance. This retreat is a sanctuary where you can nourish your body, cultivate peace in your mind, and replenish your spirit.

NOW’s School of Yoga goes beyond the common yoga shapes to deeply understand the yogic path and how it informs and influences our current practice and day-to-day life. In this training students will learn the foundations for teaching asana and how to carefully craft classes that are suitable for all levels of practitioners. Whether you are looking to deepen your practice or become a yoga teacher, this is the training for you. Join us as we embark on this journey that will create lasting bonds through study, practice, and mentorship.

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER 200HR YOGA SCHOOLS

  • You will receive real world teaching experience throughout the duration of the yoga school that will prepare you to teach public classes upon graduation. We truly teach you to teach.

  • This is a closed group yoga school. This means each session will only be open to those who are accepted into the school. We will not open up sections of the program to the public as a means to get a higher enrollment. Our focus is on you and preparing you to become a yoga teacher.

  • We cap enrollment at 15 students so we can truly get to know each person. Everyone learns differently and we want to create space for us to meet you where you are.

Join us for this HYBRID (both in-person and online) workshop where we'll learn how to be well this season despite the real-life impacts of stress and trauma. Our hosts, Nurse Practitioner Christine Patterson and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Galen Fairbanks, will pair grounding practices, lecture and discussion, and movement together for an afternoon of embodied wellness. CO(OP Collective is a self-healing collective for sexual trauma and survivors whose mission is to provide community, resources, and brave spaces for anyone healing from trauma. This workshop is open to anyone looking for a trauma-informed approach to self-care and body movement.

I will offer movement, breathing techniques, and meditations with the hope that students leave class feeling good in the bodies and calm in their minds. No yoga experience necessary.

This class is just $5 and 100% of the proceeds from this challenge go to Girls on the Run!, whose mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. I am so excited to announce I will be teaching at the Beyond Van Gogh Portland Exhibit in December at the Oregon Convention Center. Beyond Van Gogh is an immersive experience where Van Gogh's still and moving art come alive across surfaces and are accompanied by a curated soundtrack. It feels like practicing yoga in a Van Gogh painting! Each yoga class ticket includes admission to the exhibit afterwards.
